It will be easier for the police to reunite you with your stolen items if you get it logged. You can register your belongings with IMMOBILISE, which is a free national property database.

If your item is stolen you simply inform the police and then go to www.humberside.police.uk/immobilise to update your items status. If your property is recovered by the police it can be traced back to you.
